Simon Moore is a Senior Partner and Founder of Colinton Capital Partners, which was established in early 2017. Simon has oversight of all the fund’s investments and activities. He serves on several Boards as a Director and non-executive Director.
Prior to founding Colinton Capital Partners, Simon established the Australian office of The Carlyle Group, where he remained a Managing Director and Global Partner until December 2016.
Preceding The Carlyle Group, Simon was a Managing Director and Investment Committee Member of Investcorp International Inc. based in New York and a leader in J.P. Morgan’s private equity and investment banking businesses in New York, Hong Kong and Melbourne.
Connect on LinkedInMartyn Strickland is an Operating Partner with Colinton Capital Partners. Martyn joined the firm in June 2017 and represents Colinton Capital Partners on our AMSG, Dimeo, Alexium and Clear Dynamics investments.
Prior to joining Colinton Capital Partners, Martyn was a Senior Partner at Deloitte, where he led their middle-market strategy and the Operational Restructuring and CRO services divisions within the Financial Advisory business. In his time as Managing Director with 333 Consulting, he provided leadership, as Principal with A.T.Kearney, and as Operating Executive with Cadbury Schweppes. Martyn has an MBA from the Melbourne Business School and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne.

Prior to joining Colinton Capital Partners, David was Chief Financial Officer at Guzman y Gomez and previously held investing roles at The Carlyle Group, Oaktree Capital, and Macquarie Group. David has a Masters of Finance from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Laws (Hon I) /Bachelor of Business from Queensland University of Technology.
Connect on LinkedInJeff joined Colinton Capital Partners in September 2019 after completing his role as CEO and Director of Coates Hire, which he held for the previous three years. He originally joined Coates Hire in July 2015 as a Director and Chief Financial Officer before being appointed as CEO.
Jeff is currently on the Boards of Pirtek Fluid Systems, Dimeo Cleaning Services and Buildsafe Australia. Jeff’s broad business experience includes a well-developed commercial acumen across a wide range of industries, including services and infrastructure.
Prior to joining Coates Hire, Jeff spent six years with Downer EDI where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer – Specialist Services. This preceded various senior positions Jeff held within the Downer EDI group. Jeff held roles with Tabcorp and NEMMCO, as well as various roles within BHP in both the USA and Australia.

Previously, Andrew worked at Allier Capital advising on M&A and capital raises for technology, healthcare, general industrials, and private equity clients. Prior to Allier Capital, Andrew was with PwC in the deal advisory practice. Andrew graduated from the University of New South Wales where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Accounting.

Previously, James was a Principal at Archer Capital, involved in private equity investments across Australia and New Zealand. Prior to Archer, James worked for Credit Suisse in the Mergers and Acquisitions team at their New York office where he advised on over $50 billion of transactions. Before this, he worked for KPMG in Sydney with a focus on mid-market M&A and transaction advisory.
James holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Liberal Studies) from the University of Sydney and is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Charted Accountants.

Prior to joining the Principal Investments team, Ben was an Associate in MA Financial Group’s corporate advisory division where he has experience across M&A transactions and capital raisings.
Ben has a Bachelor of Finance, majoring in Finance and Accounting from the University of Western Australia.
Rhiannon Mackarness joined Colinton Capital Partners in 2025. Previously, Rhiannon was the Strategy and Operations Lead at an early-stage technology company in New York and prior to this, a Project Leader across Private Equity and Corporate Strategy teams at EY Port Jackson Partners.
Rhiannon has a Bachelor of Psychology (Political Economics) with Honours (I) from the University of Sydney.
Sam Hain joined Colinton Capital Partners in 2025. Previously, Sam was an Investment Banking Analyst at Bank of America where he advised on M&A transactions and capital raisings for natural resources, industrials, and real estate clients. Sam holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (International Business) from the University of Sydney.
